Yes, you heard it right; Victor will now be the voice of Charles assigning new tasks to the angels in the latest season of the Charlie’s Angels. Victor was roped in just three days before the premier of the series. That’s too close we reckon, considering Charles opens the season, and had a very important story to disclose.

Victor says that his agent was busy negotiating with somebody during the Emmys, and that’s how he made it for the show and just on time. Victor seems totally in love with his new job, as he feels it is quite exciting; plus, he can do it from anywhere in the world as he need not be physically present in any of the episodes.

We are sure that Victor will bring his usual charisma in the series with his voice as well. Victor also informs us that in the upcoming season, Charles’ mythological secrets will be disclosed adding a new dimension to his character.

Apart from the protagonist, it was a slew of ancillary characters in the show that acted as a driving force whenever you took the download path to catch a glimpse of this legal dramedy.

Eli Stone just did not deserve to be cancelled after a total of two terrific seasons.

Granted that the viewer ratings might have dropped by a little margin, but that doesn’t mean that the network bosses should cancel the show and cite budgetary constraints as the reason.

We all know what budgetary constraints mean nowadays? Of course, it’s just another reason for the Armani donning executives to shove money in their overstuffed pockets.

Fill your pockets with all you want, but don’t deprive us of shows such as Eli Stone.

Where else would we get to see a young lawyer who is distraught after being diagnosed with a brain aneurysm, all of a sudden suffering from hallucinations?

Nowhere!

But, since the show is cancelled, let’s take the opportunity to inform the future generations about the story of a man who was able to see the future, an ordinary superhero, Eli Stone.

Most of the viewers who had gone through the Eli Stone episodes, would know that Eli was a lawyer who started having nervous breakdowns and hallucinations without any warnings, and ultimately was diagnosed as having a brain aneurysm.

Actor Johnny Lee Miller played Eli and his convincing portrayal of an unconvincing superhero won many plaudits from viewers and critics alike.
Eli’s life changed completely after the hallucinations, when he realized that the hallucinations were in fact visions of events that were yet to take place.

Dumbfounded at first, Eli could not apprehend the implications of this sudden development, but slowly he realized that he had been blessed with a gift. But, it took a little more than just a gentle coercing to make the others realize the same as well.

And who can forget the appearance of George Michael; yeah, he was pivotal to the plot as it was his music that triggered the so-called hallucinations in Eli’s brain.

So, we had a lawyer who could see the future whenever he heard George Michael sing, and yet somehow the network people found it appropriate to cancel the show.

Calling the human obsession with the future and it’s foretelling an obsession, would be understating the whole shebang by big margins.

Not only it undermines the amount of time people have invested in it, but at the same it casts an unflattering picture of mankind at odds with Mother Nature.

It’s not a healthy habit to cultivate, as mama would say. Whatever the Good Lord has in store for us, we’ll have to bear and survive with it. But I’m guessing that Eli’s mama forgot to tell him about it when he was a little kid.
Eli Stone?

Eli Stone, an attorney from the similarly titled series, which got cancelled a few years ago. His story presented a unique scenario, where a medical condition allowed him to have visions about the future of other people.

To the people who saw it on TV or the ones who could watch Eli Stone online, it appeared that it was plainly a brain malfunction and the so-called visions were mere hallucinations.

I always failed to see the reason why such a unique series got cancelled, but I guess the flavor of the day back then, must have been family dramas and catfights.

Eli did manage to help a lot of people with his hallucinations alerting him about the events about to happen.

Eli’s brain aneurysm triggered such mental images, but those hallucinations were as real as they could get. He lost his life, his work and his love, but became a near God to those he helped.
